Review of Firefox Scrapbook Plugin

Firefox Scrapbook ExtensionFirefox is without a doubt my favorite Web Browser. The open source nature of Firefox gives coders from all over the world the ability to create hundreds of Firefox Add-ons.  One Firefox extension with practical application for the production of web-based content is the “Scrapbook” extension.

The simple tag line promoting Scrapbook states, “Helps you to save Web pages and organize the collection” but the Scrapbook extension for Firefox does so much more.

Yes you can replace your normal HTML bookmarks with Scrapbook bookmarks.

Scrapbook allows you to organize web pages and page snippets in a typical folder structure with categories and sub-categories.Firefox Scrapbook Extension

End Flaky Bookmark Organzing

Image of bookmarks before installing FoxmarksMan, I’ve just gotta share a little Firefox add-on that works beautifully. The plugins name is Foxmarks and I’m probably the only one on the Net running Firefox not using this stud-of-a tool.

Trying to keep bookmarks synchronized between two computers brings out the beast in me. I’m always looking for the bookmark on one computer that’s hiding on my other computer. I do that with my car’s gas tanks too. I confidently walk out one side of my car to “fill-er-up” only to crawl back in and move my car to the other side of the pump. Very embarrassing.

Well say good-bye to flaky bookmark organizing. If you have two computers running on a network run don’t walk to the Foxmarks add-on for Firefox. Don’t read this post…go now! This post can’t compete with Foxmarks. Come back after Foxmarks is installed and Firefox restarted.
