Meet My New Blogging Mentor
Well what do ya know, I found a blogging mentor and I am VERY impressed! I had to be.
Money’s not growing on trees these days. Handing over a dollar bill, to anyone but my wife, is tougher than amending the US Constitution. I can almost feel the flesh being torn off the tips of my fingers as “my precious” slides out of my grasp and into the hands of some undeserving stranger.
That gives you a picture of how impressed I am with my new blogging mentor.
Yaro Starak is his name and he looks like I did about 32 years ago. Yaro’s got it going “big-time” when it comes to creating great pillar blog content and then marketing that content through the right communication channels. His blog “Entrepreneur’s Journey” has 34,276 subscribed readers and his Blog Mastermind sales page is one of the best put together online marketing efforts I’ve ever read or viewed. Yaro’s sales page did its job and gave me the push, I both needed and was looking for, to take some much needed action. Thank you Yaro!
If the production of great content is King of the Internet, and I believe that it is, then blogging is the Internet platform I want to invest my time, talents and money into. It’s time to get started.
I am finally going to get serious about every aspect of blogging and learn how best to serve my readers from a professional who has been there, done that and is still doing it.
When I first starting blogging two and half years ago, I had absolutely no interest in making money with my blog. I wanted my blog to stay free from the lure of marketing so I could write about whatever I felt like writing without worrying about yanking some affiliate merchant’s chain the wrong way.
When you’re in it for the dough you’ve got-ta watch what ya show.
I was working hard enough setting up a new eBay business and wanted My eBay Adventure blog to be nothing more than an emotional vent to the outside world…a stabilizer after a long day.
No more. Although I will be reporting my experiences on Affiliate Ground Zero and may start blogging again on My eBay Adventure, I want to finally make the transition from reporter to novice to journeyman and hopefully all the way up to expert in the field of blogging.
This is going to be a long roe to hoe. I’m glad I’m starting now.
