Blogging Reporters Versus Experts

There are basically two types of bloggers in the world - reporters and experts - and some people perform both roles (usually the experts, it’s hard for reporters to become experts, but it’s easy for experts to report).

If you have ever taken an Internet marketing course or attended a seminar specifically for beginners, you have probably heard about the two different methodologies. Whenever the business model is based on content, and if you blog for money then the model is based on content, people are taught to either start as reporters, or if possible step up as experts.

I’ll be frank; you want to be the expert.

Using YouTube Videos to Learn

One of the nice things about the rise in popularity of video sites like YouTube are the amount of instructional videos on all sorts of topics. Many days while processing eBay orders I’ll type in a topic such as “search engine optimization” (SEO) on YouTube, select a video and listen while I work.

I try and stick with people whose SEO reputations are established such as Aaron Wall from SEOBook but there are a ton of people to choose from and try out. It’s a piece of cake to do and a great way to take advantage of my time. There are some great Build a Niche Store videos produced by Mark over at The Niche Store Builder. And of coarse I have all sorts of audio and videos to choose from on Yaro Starak’s Blog Mastermind site now that I am a member.

Keep Them “Dowgies” Rolling RAWHIDE!

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

Someday I envision a blog full of stellar “Pillar Content” feeding my readers daily with incredible mind-numbingly brilliant articles. Content helping them love the written word and all the processes that lead to its publication through fearless and mostly “sane” self expression. I envision exciting “Pillar Content” written through the prism of a wide angled lens attracting all kinds of bloggers interested in learning the fine art of online content publication.

I’ll leave that vision’s reality into the safe hands of the Law of Attraction and stay busy cranking out consistent content with what I know right now.

These Guys Are Good!

I’m doing my daily homework from Yaro Starak’s Blog Mastermind course. Since I finished my second lesson ahead of time Yaro made me “Chief Mastermind” and moved me to the head of the class. Then he gave me special access to loads of other content created specifically to teach great blogging techniques.

Dream on Mark!

Every Blog Mastermind student under Yaro’s tutelage, has at their fingertips a plethora (forgive me, I was dying to use a big word) of “to-die-for” blog content resources. Today I downloaded a 54 minute MP3 file from Yaro’s Audio section entitled;

Meet My New Blogging Mentor

Well what do ya know, I found a blogging mentor and I am VERY impressed! I had to be.

Money’s not growing on trees these days. Handing over a dollar bill, to anyone but my wife, is tougher than amending the US Constitution. I can almost feel the flesh being torn off the tips of my fingers as “my precious” slides out of my grasp and into the hands of some undeserving stranger.

That gives you a picture of how impressed I am with my new blogging mentor.
