The Definition of Affiliate Ground Zero
I mentioned in my post yesterday that setting affiliate marketing goals, out in the open, to be accountable to was the only way for me to get out from under Affiliate Ground Zero.
Well that’s not true. First I have to define where exactly IS Affiliate Ground Zero, how I ended up there and why I qualify to be tagged with the infamous moniker of “AGZ”.
For me, Affiliate Ground Zero is that large perfectly created indent on the plaster wall in my office made from the countless times I’ve smashed my head there trying to figure out the basics of Affiliate Marketing.
Stupidity reigns supreme and holds me slavishly in it’s grip when it comes to Affiliate Marketing.
I must be stupid when it comes to affiliate marketing because every Internet Marketer out there tapping into the vast wasteland of “Opportunity Seekers” looking turn a quick buck on the Internet is screaming from the mountain top of their cleverly worded squeeze pages driving me to their wisdom,
“Hey you down there, come on up here where the Internet air is clear and do what I’m doing…….IT’S EASY TO MAKE MONEY ON THE INTERNET !”
Here I’ll make it easy for everyone and put “AGZ” into a simple algebraic word problem:
Y = (Easy to make money on the Internet x My total failure at Affiliate Marketing Success) + 2 years of time
Y = Affilaite Ground Zero “AGZ” (That be me!)
If you meet these strict qualifications consider yourself automatically qualified to be counted among the majority of affiliate marketers and a new member of the “AGZ” club. You don’t have to send in $97.00 per month to get an exclusive membership. “AGZ” membership is based on the “honor system”. You know who you are out there. Just drink the Koolaid and push the little orange button on the side bar and subscribe to Affiliate Ground Zero. If you can not find that orange RSS Feed button you are seriously worse off than me, disqualified for AGZ membership and must continue to perfect the indent on the plaster wall in your own office.
I feel a little election season Obama “speechification” coming on me.
My fellow AGZ citizens lend me your ears. You are my target audience for this blog. If you think I’ll be dishing out affiliate marketing wisdom from “on high” you are sadly mistaken. I’m just like you…a buzzing little “Wanna-bee” Affiliate Marketer looking for a hive to call my own. We as “AGZ” proletariat must pull together as an affiliate marketing grass roots movement and take back the Internet from the evil Feudal Lords now creating the affiliate marketing laws on the Internet. We can do it….We must do it….We will do it….For the future sake of the Internet….our country and our families….we must and we will succeed!!
Even before “edja-ma-ca-tion” a blog should first and foremost be entertaining.
